As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. By employing various testing techniques, you will identify and report software defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the development process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to detect software defects and ensure their resolution.
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects and anomalies, and track them using issue tracking systems.
- Work closely with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot reported issues, providing detailed information for efficient resolution.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide valuable feedback and ensure testability and quality from the early stages of development.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain manual and automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Undergraduate Software Engineers are welcome to apply.
- 1+ years of proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in manual testing techniques and tools.
- Experience in creating, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Knowledge of various testing types, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Organizational Skills with the capability of working towards tight deadlines.
